ALMADOVAR
This project focuses on a colorful and expressive kitchen designed for a family who wanted a vibrant home inspired by the interiors of Pedro Almodóvar’s films. The kitchen was envisioned not only as a workspace but as the social heart of the house — a place to cook, gather, and connect.
The design reflects Almodóvar’s cinematic style through bold colors, geometric forms, and retro-inspired details. Patterned tiles, oak, ceramic finishes, and lacquered surfaces create a lively yet durable environment. A palette of strong reds, yellows, and blues is balanced with natural wood, combining theatrical expression with everyday practicality.

MATERIALS USED
Functionality and accessibility were central. Tall cabinetry with integrated appliances, bespoke shelving, and waste-sorting solutions maximize efficiency. Generous work surfaces and clearances ensure the kitchen is both ergonomic and inclusive.
This project demonstrates how cinematic inspiration can be transformed into a livable environment. The result is a dynamic kitchen that embodies energy, creativity, and social interaction.
